What to do in El Cotillo?
El Cotillo is a fishermen man village placed in the north of the islands. It still preserves its natural beauty since it has been appart from tourism. Fuerteventura was declared as Biosphere Reserve in 2009 by UNESCO for its biological heritage. In 2010 La Concha, the largest beach in Lagoss, was certified Blue Flag. We can find different beaches and marvelous landscapes in the sourrounding areas that are wainting you to be discoverd such as: Playa del Águila, Playa de la Mujer or even the Parque Natural de las Dunas and Lobos islands.

The north of the islands offers a wide variety of trips and thanks to the perfect weather it is possible to hike and go on trips by bike, or even on horses that will make posible to discover volcanic landsacapes and daydream beaches. If you are an water sport lover, El Cotilo it is the perfect choice to practiser surf, windsurf, kitesurf and snorkel. We also recommend the visit to surrounding areas such as Torre del Tostón, the Tourist Office Hadquarteds, ands Casa de los Coroneles de La Oliva or even the Cabildo Museums network.
